In this post I'm going to show you how to generate leads for MCA every single day.
Whether you're a seasoned pro, or you're completely brand new to Motor Club of America and still a little wet behind the ears as an associate of MCA, I'm going to teach you the 3 best ways to acquire new leads and customer referrals for MCA so that you can succeed as an associate and grow your paycheck as soon as next week by applying this simple formula.
Before becoming an associate for MCA, it’s important to make sure that you’re going to get the proper training you’ll need to succeed, specifically, you need to understand that you’re going to need to learn how to acquire or generate new leads or people that are actively looking for MCA’s services so that you can provide more information when they request it, and so that when when they decide to become a customer, you will receive a commission for the referral.
Because all of your training will come from Motor Club of America associates that are currently in the field, it’s crucial to know that the associate you learn from or “apprentice” under is consistently getting the results that you yourself are looking for and that they will in fact provide you with the step by step training you need to succeed after you become an associate for MCA.
In a perfect world, this would always be the case, however, the truth is that not all MCA associates honestly care about your success, and many quite frankly have no clue how to properly promote MCA’s roadside assistance services, let alone generate daily leads because they themselves did not have a great mentor to learn from.
Here’s how we do it
Having a great mentor that is already succeeding in MCA to learn from is foundational to your success, especially if you’ve never done anything like this before.
From the moment someone becomes an associate on my team, I plug them into a getting started training series we created where they can watch over our shoulder as we place ads and generate leads. We teach all of our new associates to place ads in a specific way so that the only people they ever talk to are folks that are serious about learning more about Motor Club of America and the services they offer.
Below, I’m going to show you how we teach our new MCA associates to generate leads and customer referrals and share with you a step by step blueprint so that you too can begin generating leads and referring customers as an associate regardless of where you got started or what you’re currently doing to promote MCA's services to others.
How To Promote MCA on Facebook (Tutorial)
There are three very powerful ways we teach our associates to promote MCA on facebook, and we’ll cover all three of these techniques in great detail as you continue reading. You may have seen similar videos about posting in groups or placing ads on facebook, however I promise you, you’ve never seen anything quite like what we teach, so grab a pen and paper, lean in a little bit closer thatn you were just a moment ago and follow along as I show you a paint by numbers way to start generating leads for MCA on facebook.
This works great, it's easy to learn, plus our MCA associates that follow our FB lead generation formula (the one I'm teaching you right now) exactly are now averaging 5-20 new customer referrals per week, which for most people would rock their world if they could learn how to do this as well. You're going to love this post because unlike so many others out there, I'm actually going to show you step by step how simple it is to copy our success formula.
Step 1: Clean up Your Profile
Before you start generating leads on facebook for MCA, you’ll need to lay the foundation by cleaning up your personal profile, and start getting rid of a few skeletons in the closet that are hanging out on your profile so that people who are looking for more information about MCA and their services are attracted to you instead of making them run for the hills or creating the wrong first impression when they check out your facebook profile.
The first thing you want to do is upload a nice profile picture that clearly shows your face and a cover photo that looks great too. Here's a link to my personal profile (must be logged in to facebook) if you want to stalk me, copy what I'm doing and follow along as you're learning how to get more leads for MCA.
You’ll notice that on my facebook profile there are no negative posts or rants, I’m not sharing links to weird stuff, I’ve got a nice looking profile pic that clearly shows my face and under my place of employment it says “self employed”.
Let’s go through each of these things one by one and get your facebook profile to pop and create interest the moment someone stumbles across your profile like mine does.
Step 2: Update Your Privacy Settings
First we’ll go to your facebook privacy settings (you’ll need to be logged into facebook to do this) and make sure that your future posts is set to “public” and the "who can send me friend requests" section is set to “Everyone” like so:
Next, under the timeline and tagging tab, make sure the first four sections are set to “friends” so that more people can see what you're sharing and interact with your posts:
Finally, you’ll go to your public posts tab and set all of the first four sections to “public” so that everyone is able to see your posts and comment on them without having to jump through any hoops and also that you’ll be able to receive notifications from facebook when they do decide to reach out and contact you for more information about MCA. Your settings should like this:
Next, head on over to your timeline and delete any nasty pictures, negative post or stuff that is just straight up weird. You’re a professional, and your profile should say the same. I cant even begin to tell you how many times we run across profiles that have posts like this:
Once you have all of your posts cleaned up, you'll want to start posting positive, motivational or uplifting posts ONLY from this point forward. Nobody wants to be around a negative-nancy who’s always complaining about how bad they’ve got it. Instead, start to become the leader and role model in your network that others genuinely want to be around.
Step 3: Become a Mystery Man
The final thing we’re going to do is change our employment status to “Self Employed”. The reason we do this is so that people who come to our profile aren’t able to dig around and find out what exactly we do unless the ask us personally.
This also allows you to choose and select exactly how they are exposed to more information about MCA instead of them only getting half of the information on their own and prematurely making a decision based on only half of what they need to know. Plus it creates a curiosity in people that haven’t met you yet and more times than not, they’ll actually ask YOU for more information about what you do before you ever have to say a word.
Now that we’ve laid the foundation, got our facebook profile cleaned up and looking fresh, it’s time to start using facebook to generate leads for motor club of america.
How to Market MCA in Facebook Groups
Placing ads inside of facebook groups is a great way to get started and earn your first paycheck with MCA. It’s free, and requires very little skills or tech knowledge, plus the learning curve is next to nothing, however, you do need to have someone show you which types of groups to post in and how to place ads in a specific way so that only serious people are reaching out to you and requesting more information about MCA and their services.
With FB groups, there are two schools of thought here - you can either post an ad with the intent of someone enrolling as a total security member + wanting to become an MCA associate also OR you can simply place ads looking for folks who want to enroll as a total security member only and take advantage of MCA’s roadside assistance + $150K in additional benefits.
In this post, I’m going to show you how to both, and I’m also going to show you the best types of groups to post in, plus, I'll show you how you can learn what to say to people after they request more information about MCA towards the bottom of this blog post.
What types of groups should I post in?
There are three main categories of FB groups that work really well for placing ads and acquiring new customer for Motor Club of America. Cragislist groups in facebook, "for sale" groups and job seeker groups are a great place to start. Here’s how to find new groups to join on facebook for the purpose of placing ads and acquiring new referrals for MCA.
First type in your keyword(s) in facebook’s search bar like so:
You can do this from mobile also, it will just look different depending on what device you are using. Click on the “Groups” tab to show all of the facebook groups that match our search terms, and request to join 10-15 groups per day until you are a member of about 100 groups.
Request to join groups that have at least 10,000 members or more - anything less than 10K members will not have enough activity to warrant taking the time to post an ad. It’s very important to not go crazy adding yourself to hundreds of groups quickly like a maniac.
Don’t request to join more than 15 groups per day or facebook could put a temporary limit on your account for up to 7 days, trust me, we see people push the limits often and then get banned from requesting to join groups for a week which can really bring your paychecks to a screeching halt if that’s all you’ve got going on in the beginning as an MCA associate.
To view the groups that you’re currently a member of, go to https://facebook.com/groups/ and continue scrolling until you see the groups you are looking for:
Not every group will add you right away so it will take you probably about two weeks of consistently requesting to join 10-15 groups a day for you to become a member of approximately 100 groups. There will also be groups along the way that aren’t really that active or simply not the right fit for posting your ads, you can leave these groups by simply clicking “leave group”.
How to Post an Ad in a Facebook Group for MCA
Once you’ve been added to a group and while you’re continuing to work on getting your group count up to 100 groups or so, you can begin posting ads in that group. Simply go to the group you want to post an ad in and click on "start discussion":
Depending on how the admin has the group set up, you may only see an option to “write a post” or “add a photo/video” which is fine to do if that’s all you see as options. Add your photo, write your status and click the blue post button in the lower right to post your status.
What do I say in my Ad(s)?
Like I mentioned earlier in this post, for our personal associates, we have a team training area that teaches them everything they need to know to get started properly, trained quickly and up an into profit right away (typically within their first week).
Inside of our training area we have status builder tools that literally generate ad ideas and what to say for our new associates with the click of a button, take a look:
This is one of our favorite tools we provide for the associates on our team so that there is no guesswork when it comes to knowing exactly what to say and how to say it. We also provide sample images with every status so that our new associates can literally copy and paste their way to their first paycheck. It’s pretty cool.
I’m going to show you how to post in these facebook groups and what to say to get the best response when placing your ads.
The first way, we will be targeting people that are looking for MCA’s roadside assistance services and also interested in becoming an associate and getting paid to refer customers to motor club of america. The second way, I will show you how to attract folks that are only interested in MCA’s services and benefits. Ready? Let’s go.
How to market MCA to people who are also looking to make money
Before we get into what to say, let’s talk about the dos and don'ts of photo etiquette and whats working right now. You want to convey proof and curiosity in your ad's image without giving away too much information. Take a look at these three images below:
From the three pictures above, are you able to tell what company these people are in? Can you figure out what products or services they are offering or promoting? The answer is of course no. You can, however, tell that these are real images posted by real people and they certainly grab someone’s attention right from the first glance.
You’ll often see associates posting images of their paydays or income proof, and understand that it’s totally ok too. As long as they’re not bragging or trying to pretend to be something they’re not (i.e. posting pictures of other associate’s results and claiming it’s their on results) there is nothing slimy or unethical about it because all the associate is trying to do is grab someone’s attention.
Realize that your ONLY goal with the images you will be posting is to simply get and hold the attention of the viewer.
Compare the three images I just showed you with the three images below:
Which images are better?
Out of the six images we just reviewed, which ones hold your attention more? Which are more believable, seem more credible or strike up more curiosity? Why do you think that is? Although there is nothing inherently wrong with these three images, the first three will beat them every time in terms of believe-ability and credibility.
Why is this?
A couple reasons for this is that we as humans are used to tuning out ads. We’re bombarded daily with ads on our phones, our computers, our mailboxes, the radio, television, our morning commute. Heck, everywhere we go we are constantly be fed advertising and marketing messages, most of which we’ve taught ourselves to ignore or tune out.
Did you notice that the first three images were taken from a smartphone? Guess what? Your brain did. How about the second three? Obviously those were made on a computer, right? Our brains recognize this and add one point to the credibility score of the first images.
Number two, people want to know what they don’t know.
Two of the three images in the second example have either a website or the company’s name on them. What do you think someone’s first move will be if they want to learn more information?
You guessed it - they'll head straight to the website listed or google it and make their own decision based on the limited information they take the next 45 seconds to skim through.
But the first three images?
Bingo. The only way someone can get more information is to ask you for it. This also adds to the credibility because people don’t like not knowing something. Pretty crazy huh?
Before we talk about what to say in your ads, we'll need to have some images to use for the purpose of promoting MCA on facebook.
How to download and save your images
Make sure you pick an image that’s believable, real, and doesn’t give away enough information for someone to be able to google it without talking to you first. Images of money work well, so do images along the lines of working from home or “positions available/now hiring” verbiage.
You’ll need 15 total images before you start posting in facebook groups. Here are some searches to get you started:
Number your images one through fifteen and save them to a new folder on your desktop:
After you’ve got your 15 images saved, the next thing were going to do is create our ad copy that we will be using when posting to the facebook groups.
Here’s exactly what to say when posting ads for MCA
In addition to your images, you’ll also need 15 different statuses to use for you ads. Make sure that these statuses are unique to you and that you didn’t copy and past them from somewhere else or facebook could limit you from posting to groups for few days.
Your statuses need to do two very specific things, first they need to pique the interest of the reader, and second they need to have a very clear call to action or “next steps” for the reader to take if they’re serious about getting more information. Here’s a sample status to get you started:
You can pique interest by either asking a question or typing a statement that draws your audience in (the part in green). You'll notice that everything after the green box is the call to action.
By asking someone to comment on our ad this will boost our ad to the top of the group and also the group’s member’s new feeds. Bottom line is that the more activity and interaction we can get on our post, the better chance we’ll have of more people seeing our ad.
Do you have sample ad ideas that I can use?
Here are some sample statuses for your ads that you can copy, edit and make your own. Remember we want to make these unique and you'll need to create 15 of them to start using when you're posting in facebook groups for the purpose of acquiring more MCA leads.

In the next section, I am going to show you how to connect with new people on facebook and expand your circle of influence, however before I do, let me show you how to make an ad to attract folks that are only interested in MCA’s roadside assistance + $150K in benefits and without wanting to become and associate for the company and get paid for referrals.
How to market to people looking for MCA's services/benefits only
Attracting people looking for MCA’s services is pretty similar to placing ads for folks looking to make some extra cash as an associate. You will be posting in similar groups, however you’ll just need to change up your ad copy a photos in a specific way like this:
Who do you know that likes to travel and would like to save up to 15% off or their next hotel stay? Like this and Comment “Info” below and I’ll show you how
Would you like to pay ZERO out of pocket on your next tow? Know someone who does? Comment “Info” below to learn how to get on our list today, so that the next time disaster strikes you don’t have to!
Who do you know that has glasses? I recently found a way to save up to 50% on lenses/frames, and I can now get contacts at a discount and even eye exams. The information is free, who wants to learn more about this too? Comment “Interested” below or shoot me a PM and I’ll send you more information.
(If you personally wear glasses or contacts, this would be a great post to feature an image of yourself. If not, or you don’t want to use your lovely mug in you ads, you can use the link above.)
Once you’ve got your 15 ads + 15 photos saved to your computer or smartphone, it’s time to get posting those ads. You want to post 10-15 ads per day (every day) and stick to no more than 10 ads per hour. Remember not to post the same ad in multiple groups on the same day.
Go to https://www.facebook.com/groups/ and scroll all the way to the bottom to see what groups you should post in next. Facebook will put the groups you recently visited at the top of that page so by scrolling to the bottom there is less of a chance you’ll be posting in the same groups multiple times per week.
Another extremely important ingredient to making this work is consistency.
Our associates that average 5-10 new customers a week set aside time every day of the week to post and keep up with the ads they are posting to facebook groups. So that's how to postin facebook groups, next, let’s talk about how to start getting leads, sales and more customer referrals using only your facebook profile.
How To Get Leads For MCA Using Your FB Profile
In addition to posting in facebook groups to generate MCA interest, you want to be connecting with 15-30 new people every single day on facebook as well. Our associates that use this method in addition to our facebook group training that I just shared with you sometimes average an extra 1-2 customer referrals per day just from using what I’m about to show you how to do below.
How do I get more people to ask me about MCA?
The short answer is that you need to expand your influence on facebook. We’re going to head on over to facebook's search bar again, however this time we’ll be looking for pages that our ideal audience would like. This could be authors or public speakers (like Tony Robbins, Tai Lopez, Oprah), activities that require motivation or creativity (like camping, working out, travel) and past times or education (think bands, colleges, hobbies).
Type your search terms into facebook’s search bar:
Click on the page's name and scroll through the page’s posts until you find a post with a lot of activity on it like this one here does, and click on “view all comments”.
After you scroll through and find a meaningful comment that you like from a person you’d like to connect with, you’re going to like their comment and reply to their comment.
After you like and reply to their comment, hover over their name and either send them a friend request or shoot them a message:
Continue to repeat this process until you have liked and commented on 15-30 people’s comments that you are not yet connected with on facebook making sure to only send out 10-15 new friend requests per day so that facebook doesn’t block your account.
For the other 5-20 people who’s comments you replied to, choose to send them a unique private message. It doesn’t need to be fancy here, just hand-typed (no copy & paste) and personalized so you don't look like some robot or mindless machine.
For the people you send friend requests to, if someone hasn’t added you back in a few days or so, go to your sent requests folder and simply cancel your request. If you have too many pending friends requests out, facebook may limit how many new requests you can send so it’s good to do a little housekeeping from time to time.
So the first part of this process is to connect with 15-30 new people daily, and send out no more than 10-15 new friend requests to stay within facebooks limits. The second part is to continue communicating with these folks via PMs or status updates which I’ll show you how to do next.
What do I do after someone adds me?
After someone adds you or accepts your friend request, you’ll want to add them to a custom list by hovering over your friendship status and clicking on "add to another list”.
This looks a little different on mobile, but you can still do it after a little searching. Create a new list if you don't already have one and call it “MCA” or whatever you want to.
Here’s where the magic really happens.
Just like you are going to be posting in facebook groups on a daily basis, you are also going to do a minimum of one status update per day on your profile.
In our training area for our personal associates on our team we have another awesome tool that generates status ideas with the click of a button so that our new associates don’t have to take the time to figure a new status everyday - they can just copy and paste their daily status using our tool:
With your goal being to post a minimum of one status per day on your facebook wall in addition to placing ads in groups, there are just a couple specific ways we need to do it.
If you want to, you can use one of your 15 ad statuses that you post in groups, or you can write your own. Make sure that whatever you post is always positive, inspirational or motivational and includes a call to action or next step (similar to the ads we post in groups).
To get the best results, always set your post status to “public” unless you only want a specific group of people to see your status like the custom list we just created labeled “MCA”. You can change who sees your posts by hovering over this blue button:
Let’s do a quick recap on how to succeed with facebook groups and how to start generating interest and ultimately new customer referrals for Motor Club of America from your facebook profile so that you can start earning a bigger paycheck as an MCA associate asap.
Daily Actions Steps for MCA Success on Facebook
To truly see success with this, stick to this formula for your first 90 days and don’t miss a day.
Again, our associates that follow this formula average an extra 5-10+ sales per week by simply posting in facebook groups and connecting with new people on their facebook profiles. Up next, I’ll show you how to generate customer referrals for MCA on craigslist and how to generate curiousity in your craigslist ads for Motor Club of America's services and benefits.
How To Market MCA on Craigslist (The Right Way)
We recommend all of our associates start promoting MCA on facebook first because it’s inexpensive and works great especially if you’re new to Motor club of America. Once you begin referring customers and earning consistent paychecks with MCA, take a percentage of every paycheck and set it aside to use for paid advertising.
Smart business people always allocate their resources based on percentages because it keeps everything in check and allows them to diversify risk without feeling the pinch or burden of making a mistake. For now, a great place to start is by setting aside 20% of every payday you get from MCA to be used for paid advertising, meaning for every $100 you earn, you are re-investing that in the for of paid advertising.
Craigslist is a great place to get your feet wet in the realm of paid advertising. It’s easy to learn, doesn’t require a vast amount of knowledge and you can get started right away generating interest in MCA and it’s total security package. Let me show you how to get started.
How To Post An Ad On Craigslist For MCA
Head on over to craigslist.org and click on post to classifieds. You should be immediately redirected to whatever version of craigslist is closest to your location. If not, you can always go to the craigslist homepage and select what area you are in manually, however I recommend you stick to wherever craigslist thinks you're currently located so that you can get your ads up without having to jump through a bunch of extra hoops at first.
Next, select a category that you want to post your ad in.
Either job offered or gig offered seems to work best and will generate you the best qualified individuals because more people are browsing these two categories on craigslist than any other “Services offered” types of ads that are getting posted.
Next, pick ONE sub-category to post in. This will stretch your ad dollars and most people on craigslist browse through multiple categories when looking for jobs/gigs anyways so it doesn't really make a whole lot of senses to pay for multiple categories unless you really want to.
Some of our favorite sub-categories that consistently perform well are the art/media, busines/mgmnt, customer service, writing/editing and marketing/pr categories. Once you’ve selected you ad type and category it’s time to create your ad.
What do I say in my craigslist ad?
One of the most important things when posting to craigslist is that every ad you create needs to be original and not contain any links to your website. Our only goal is to get someone to email us or text us requesting more information about the ad and that’s it. We’ve tested long, overly explanatory ads providing all of the details and more information than anyone could ever want and we’ve also tested super short, to the point ads that tell almost nothing about what we’re offering. Here are our findings:
The best type of craigslist ad for MCA
Believe it or not, the best type of ad to post is (along the same lines of your facebook ads) somewhere in between. Share enough information to pique curiosity without spilling the beans and giving someone enough information to google it and make their own decision based on only half the information because they skimmed through all the important things. Let’s start with the title:
Like other other ads, you want the title to be short, spark interest and sound believable. Here are some sample titles that you can use and tweak so that they are unique:
Example 1: Side Income From Home $136 Everyday
Example 2: Make $198 Every day at home…
Example 3: Position Available for Customer Service - Local Position
Example 4: Home Agents Needed, $550+ Per Week
For some reason, titles like this tend to get the best results. As you can see, they’re not always grammatically correct, they are kind of weird, yet make you want to click and learn more.
Y’see people are scrolling through tons of listings on craigslist and typically apply/request more information from multiple ads so there’s no need to get real fancy here. To add to the credibility score of our ad we're posting we’re going to put a specific location and also include the zip code of that location.
Next let’s create a description. Keep it short, and make sure you tell people to either text you or email you back for more information. Something like this works well:
Again, if we do the math here, the numbers are just a little off, nobody really has any idea about what type of a job or gig this actually is and the truth is, they’re already responding to craigslist ads so they’ll most likely respond to yours as well. Some similarly zany descriptions that we’ve used often to get great results are:
Earn $1624 Per Week… From Home…
Respond give me the details and I will send the info…
Looking for MOTIVATED self starters to teach how to live how they want and where they want working from the comfort of their computer or smartphone.
Serious people only. No time wasters.
Working with Entrepreneurs and teaching the hottest trends.
Serious Inquiries only. Text or email to be considered.
You can make up to $1643 per week...
If interested, please email back and I will send the details…
It’s crazy to think that titles and descriptions like this really work, right? However, the responses we get from ads like this are amazing. Main thing for you to remember is that every ad you post on craigslist needs to be unique, no copy and paste or craigslist will ghost (not show) your ads.
After you’ve got your description and titled typed up, this is how the next boxes should look:
If you set your employment type to part-time you will get more viewers on your ad because many people looking for work on craigslist go straight to the part-time category from craigslist’s home page. Check internship and telecommuting, and also make sure that the compensation lines up with whatever you decided to put in the title and description of your ad.
Enter your email, phone number and select the text box if you want people to also be able to contact you via text. Most craigslist users are not afraid of using the phone, so enabling texts we’ve found also helps to get more responses from your ads:
You don’t need to show you ad on maps unless you really want to, so you can uncheck that box and click continue. You can also skip adding images:
After images, you’ll see a page that asks you to publish your post. Take a moment to review your ad and make sure it looks the way you want it to before publishing.
After you click “publish” you will be taken to a page to enter your payment details, complete your purchase and place you ad. After your ad is successfully published, you’ll be able to view it, see the status, delete or renew your post from your dashboard that will look something like this:
From the moment your ad goes live, you may be surprised at how quickly people start responding to it. Don’t get overwhelmed, I’ll show you a simple follow up process you can follow that works great for replying to a little bit later.
FAQs About Posting On Craigslist
In the next section, I’m going to show you the third way we recommend you promote MCA as an associate, but first let’s handle a couple frequently asked questions regarding marketing MCA on craigslist.
How do I prevent my craigslist ads from getting ghosted?
Craigslist has all kinds of filters and spam traps programmed into their platform to prevent misuse and abuse by spammers. The good news is that the only time you are charged is for ads that go live, so if craigslist doesn’t approve of an ad, simply wait a couple days, change up your title and description and try posting your ad again. To prevent your ads from getting ghosted I recommend posting your ad from a smartphone.
Sometimes craigslist will flag your IP address so if you’re using wifi or you laptop at home, they will start giving you problems when you try to get your ads to go live. Using your smartphone’s data is a simple work around for this and takes literally the same of amount of work and effort to post and ad.
How often should I post my ads?
After you post an ad and it goes live on craigslist and depending on your location, you’ll continue to get responses for about one to two weeks from the date your ad went live. After that time you can pay to renew your ad, or just leave it up until it expires. You can go back at anytime after an ad expires and renew it later on if you’d like.
Wait 48-72 hours after your first ad goes live before attempting to post an additional ad. If you decide to post an additional ad, try to post it in a city that’s a little further out than your current location for each additional ad you post.
Can I post in multiple cities?
Yes, but take it slow. For instance, let’s say you live near Houston. Your first live ad should be in an area that has a Houston zip code. After waiting 48-72 hours, if you decide to post another ad in a different city, try posting near Pasadena, TX (about 20 mins away).
The third time you post an ad, you could try placing it near Galveston (about 60 minutes away). Not all of your ads will stick, some will get flagged, and some if may take 5-10 attempts before getting a live ad, however, we have associates of ours that are now able to place ads all across the country (from their smartphone) because they started slowly and worked their way out. Make sense?
Why does Craigslist charge me to place ads?
Craigslist is now a pay to play platform, however we’ve found that this is actually a good thing because there is now far less competition on craigslist due to the fact that most people are now unwilling to pay for adspace.
We’re in a unique window of time where the same amount of users are on craigslist every single day, however the advertisers on craigslist have been cut on half.
